Printing from workstations or personal devices

  • The first time you swipe your Camel Card at a new Xerox device, you will have to type in your College username and password to activate your PaperCut account on your Camel Card.
  • Students are assigned an initial $30 in printing funds through their PaperCut user account. To view account balances, transaction history and other user data, go to this CamelWeb Page.
  • Once the initial $30 in printing funds is exhausted, the software system will automatically default to the student's Camel Cash account. Printing transaction fees will be charged to that account.
  • Your Camel Cash account must have a positive balance in order to continue submitting printing and copying transactions. Funds can be deposited to a Camel Cash account using the Camel Card account link in CamelWeb. In addition, parents, relatives and friends can make deposits to a student's Camel Cash account on the Camel Card Office website at www.conncoll.edu/camel-card/camel-cash. The minimum deposit amount is $1, and all deposits are instantly available.
  • Any questions about account balances or transaction costs, as well as requests for refunds, should be submitted to the Print Shop at printshop@conncoll.edu.
  • To submit a print job, go to webprint.conncoll.edu and then log in to the PaperCut portal with your CamelWeb user ID and password (Note: do not use your full email address, just the username)Click here for full WebPrint Print Job instructions.

Printing Costs

Printing costs are $.08/double-sided B&W (8.5x11) sheet and $.05/single-sided B&W sheet; for color printing the cost is $.16/double-sided sheet and $.09/single-sided sheet. At the MFD, you can choose to proceed with your print job or delete it to avoid incurring a fee. While at the touch panel, you can also choose to print your job double-sided or in grayscale and see the amount you will save by doing so. Your print job remains in the queue for 24 hours, at which time it will be deleted from the system if not released.
