Password Reset Guide

Body

  1. Go to the Connecticut College login page (CamelWeb) and click “Forgot Password.” This will direct you to the Password Reset tool. You can also navigate directly to the password reset page using this link: https://prodapps.conncoll.edu/interrupts-platform/RESET

  2. Enter your Camel username in the Password Reset page. Do Not include "@conncoll.edu". Click Submit to proceed to the next form. 

  3. Verify your identity by answering your security questions. NOTE: If you have not set up security questions or cannot remember the answers, you will need to contact the IT Service Desk for assistance - see the Need Help Section below.

  4. Create a new password when prompted. Keep in mind the password requirements:

    • Minimum length - Your new password must be at least 16 characters long. Consider using a pass phrase or a combination of words to meet this length. 

    • No personal name - It cannot contain your username or any part of your account name. 

    • Reuse policy - You cannot reuse your last 3 previous passwords. Choose something fresh that you haven't used recently. 

    • Change Frequency - Passwords can only be changed once every 24 hours. Passwords must be renewed every 12 months. 

  5. Log in with your new password. You can return to CamelWeb (or any ConnColl service) and log in using your new password. 

After you reset your password:

Update your Devices and apps - Have your device(s) forget eduroam or other Conn network and reconnect with your new password. You will be prompted to log in to your email and other Conn services.
