Zoom: Add Zoom meetings directly from your Google Calendar

Zoom Meetings can be directly added to your Google Calendar events using the Zoom for Google Workspace Add-on. The Zoom for Google Workspace Add-on is recommended over the Zoom Chrome Extension for more consistency across browsers and devices.

Install the Zoom add-on
  • Find the Zoom for Google Workspace add-on in the Google Workspace Marketplace. You will need to be signed into your Connecticut College Google account.
  • Click the blue Install button
  • On the next two pop-up screens, click pop-up, click Continue
  • On the next pop-up screen, select all the items listed to give Zoom permission to connect to your Google calendar. Click Continue
Create a Zoom Meeting from your Google Calendar Event
  • When adding a Google Calendar Event, click the Add Videoconferencing drop down and select Zoom Meeting
  • Configure any other details about your Google Calendar event, including date and any times
  • Click Save to save your Google Calendar Event. Your Zoom meeting will automatically be generated using the title of your Calendar event and the date and time.
