Clearing Cache in Web Browsers

 

Chrome:

1. In the top-right corner, click the settings icon (3 vertical dots)

2. About halfway down the menu select "Delete Browsing Data"

3. A dialog box will appear. In the time range drop-down, select "All Time" and have only the Cached images & files check box checked

NOTE: If on a Mac, quit Chrome completely, then reopen to complete the data removal.  

Safari:

1. With Safari open, click Safari at the top of the screen. In the drop-down menu, click Settings>Privacy

2. Click Manage Website Data.

3. In the boxed list of websites, you can select all or just the ones that are not performing correctly. 

4. Click Remove or Remove all

5. Quit Safari and reopen to complete the data removal.

FireFox:

1. Click the menu button Fx89menuButton and select Settings

2. Click Privacy & Security in the left panel

3. In the Cookies & Site Data section, click the Clear Data button.

4. On the Drop-down menu next to When:, choose Everything. Make sure that only Temporary Cached Files & Pages is checked.

5. Click the Clear Button.

6. Close the Settings page. Changes made will automatically save. 

Edge:

1. In the top URL bar, type:  edge://settings/clearbrowserdata and hit Enter. 

2. In the Settings window click the Choose What to Clear button at the top of the right panel.

3. Set time range to All Time.

4. Only check the Cookies and other site data option. If you want to be thorough, you can check all options, but be warned, you will be logged out of sites previously visited.
